I must have learned from others’ mistakes. I haven’t had time to think all those up myself.

Will stick a link up to the full results, but by looking at the above I think you’ve answered your own question grin

Heard that the fishing was dire.

One of the worst comps in living memory. For reasons best known to themselves, and perhaps even nothing to do with potential expended diesel, the boats went in the opposite direction to where all the fish were being reported. Several anglers that you would expect to do well blew out completely, and those that did manage meagre enough pickings to frame had considerable help from the draw bag. The way the boats drift, you needed a wheelhouse or close-to-the-wheelhouse draw to have an earthly of picking off the very odd stray fish that the boat stopped on top of. Boats drifted for long periods without even an inkling of a bite, and it might be said that the skippers lack the motivation, knowledge and angler affinity of those elsewhere. I won’t fish a charter boat event out of the Dunbar again, nor should anyone with a brain.

Would be interested to know how some of the small boats fared from Dunbar last weekend.

That sounds like my words from last year.
How was the tea or coffee or was it soup this year?
