The draft Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM) plan for Loch Fyne will be taken to the relevant Argyll and Bute Council Area Committees in the first week of August, for approval to go to public consultation.
Once the draft plan is printed (towards the end of August) it will go out to consultation for 6 weeks. Copies of the plan will be made available in hard copy, on CD and will be available to download from the Council website. Hardcopies will be sent to each Community Council and public library. The consultation will also be advertised on the Council website and in the local papers.
During the consultation period we will hold a public meeting in Lochgilphead and Strachur. We will also try and accommodate, as far as possible meetings requested by groups or community councils during this period.
After the consultation responses have been collated and considered, further public meetings in Lochgilphead and Strachur will be held to outline any amendments/changes made as a result of the consultation responses.
