Can anyone sum up the different, well known superbraids . . . . . . . for stiffness, slipperyness, diameter, tendency (or not) to “spool bite” (dig-in) if not wound on under great pressure and—perhaps— reliability. Oh...and availability (tackle shops or online in this country)
I mean makes like Whiplash, PowerPro, Calcutta, Dynon (various), Herculine, Stren, TuffLineXP, Fireline, Spiderwire Fusion, spiderwire, Climax stipp, Antares, Daiwa (depth or tournament), Varivas (various), Momoi Diamond, Jerry Brown “Line One”
and perhaps a few of the specialist expensive ones (like YKG, Varivas Jigging or Bass “Premium”, the Y8 and Y10 types and so on)
