after a delay setting off for anglesy, we finally got going about 1015 sat morning.
picked up bait at porth daniel marine, nice shop wynn !!!
and also at malc’s
we went to tal-y-foel to collect crab at low, as we needed about 70 for our ireland trip
at the end of august, and some more for a session later.
shock,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,after over 2 hours, only enough crab for a few chucks, the wind was a bladdy nightmare and we narrowed our
options down to the breaky, or almwch port for conger after getting mack at moelfre!
Moelfre,,,what a disaster, only dogs, a few dabs, one good bass bite to jon,,,,,and not a single mack.
we did see the moelfre lifeboat going back up the slip to the boathouse.
with no fresh mack to go to almwch port for conger we headed back to hewitts for some scran and beer.
sunday, we headed to the 40 foot drop, the wind was blowing a hoolie, all we managed were a few wrasse, the pollock weren’t
