Memorable is all about experiencing the great outdoors and what it has in store for you, so they’re all memorable - from the wild nights of a February winter storm to the benign days of summer acquiring a big red face.

“Traditional” – heavy fibre glass rod, 6” scarboro reel.

Golf.

Equilibrium between the various elements looking to take fish from the sea. To eventually live closer to the sea and have the chance to fish on a more regular basis.
Best piece of advice or top tip
Before you start fishing study the sea. Most of the success criteria are staring you in the face... all you have to do is recognise them.
I bet you didn’t know
The rod and reel I use are now nearly 40 years old. Sometimes I wear my grandfather's fishing gansy and my yellow oilskin smock just to complete the picture.
